Hello and welcome to Charmosa Pony Stud.
Black Saturday was very devastating to us; with the loss of my husband Stephen Lackas who perrished in our home.
We will and certainly are continuing with our lives our dogs and ponies help us though everyday.
We are living back at the property, and will rebuild a proper house in 2010.
Thank you everyone who has given us support in any way.
I hope you enjoy exploring my stud and taking a look at my ponies.
Situated in the heart of Victoria Australia, at Upper Plenty in the picturesque Mt. Disappointment state forest is our 20 acre stud.
I usually breed two or three foals a year, much thought is put into the breeding program to produce quality stock not quantity.
I started breeding 20 years ago the result Charmosa Bambam my sweet natured arabian gelding. Following Bambam I produced a few pure Arabs, Anglos and went into breeding arabian ponies
Charmosa Baby Doll had become a great asset as a broodmare.
I always admired and hoped one day to own a welsh mountain pony.....
along came Cade...... I couldn't help myself had to have him. Now I have more very lovely welshies.....you could say I'd been bitten by the Welsh Bug, what a most delightful breed of pony.
